Skott grew up in a forest commune, which was run by a handful of ‘outcast’ musicians. They built this a small but very supportive community, settling quite remotely from anywhere of note. It meant that Skott didn’t hear any contemporary music until she started to travel into the city for the first time in her mid teens.

"Porcelain" is stunning!

Skott says: "The most precious things take time and care to build, but take only a fraction of that time to destroy or break. Porcelain is about how you can spend limitless time creating something - trust, for example - but you can also let it fall to the ground in a second.”
